1950s Black Cocktail Mermaid Wiggle Party Dress

Vintage 50s piece with original Kasper of Arnold/Fox label. The black satin bodice has a woven print of musical instruments and is fashioned in a sleeveless cut in a wiggle fit. The metal zipper back is in perfect working order and the underbust line is accented with a band that is finished with a bow in front. The mermaid bottom is layed fine mesh tuelle with a wide band of black sequined trim. Piece is just outstanding and so unique its sure to be the talk of the party. Reminds me so much of Audry Hepburn and Breakfast at Tiffanys. Measured flat and across only as 17 shoulder to shoulder,19 underarm to underarm,16 under the bust line,14.5 waist,19 hip and is 58 long shoulder to hem.
